Itinerary in Details:

Day 1: Luangprabang Arrival (L)
Arrive in Luang Prabang, the ancient first capital of Lane Xang kingdom, the center of religious life in Laos and today the World Heritage City. Arrive in Luang Prabang and transfer to our hotel for check-in. In the afternoon, we take a sightseeing tour of the sacred city of temples, of which nearly fifty temples still remain in the town and surrounding areas. Visit Wat Visoun, the 16th century temple served as a small museum for religious artifacts; Wat Aham, the early 19th century temple, whose two guardian figures at the foot of the steps which represent two characters from the Ramayana - Hanuman, the Monkey God and a fierce Yaksa; Wat Xiengthong, the 16th century temple which, more than any temples in Luang Prabang, epitomizes all the elegance and grace of Luang Prabang architecture; Phousi Hill, the 328 steps leads to the summit of Phousi hill that dominates the sky-line of Luang Prabang overlooking the finest panoramic view in the whole Luang Prabang.
 
Day 2: Luangprabang – Elephant ride – Tadsea waterfall (B, L)
We take the route No. 13th south of Luangprabang, after 30 minutes we arrive at Annsavanh village , where we cruise the Khan River in a long tail motor boat for about 10 minutes. On the way you will experience authentic Lao life style with villagers fishing and growing vegetables along the way we arrive at stunningly beautiful Sae waterfall, where you will ride the majestic elephant through the waterfall area surrounded by beautiful scenery for about 30 minutes. Afterwards you can spend your time swimming and relaxing in the gorgeous natural pools until it is time to return back to Luangprabang
 
Day 3: Luangprabang – Vangvieng (B, L)
Drive to Vang Vieng, a small and tranquil town, which is nestled on a bend of the Nam Song River. Its stunning scenery with a mixture of quiet water and limestone outcrops remains unspoiled, despite recent developments with the advent of tourism. Depending on road and traffic conditions, we will arrive at Vang Vieng by mid or late afternoon.  Stop at Phoukhoune with its lively market. Lunch at local restaurant via Kasi As you approach Vang Vieng district karstic cliffs covered by lush vegetation appear. Arrive in Vangvieng walk around the bustling central market.. The limestone cliffs and valleys surrounding the resort complex of Vang Vieng are home to numerous caves and caverns. The most famous in Vang Vieng is the cave of Tham Jang, which was used in the early 19th century in defense against the Chinese invaders.  Overnight in Vang Vieng.
 
Day 4: Vangvieng – Kayak (B, L)
We will be transferred from Vang Vieng to the Khmu village of Viengsamay, about 10 km north of Vang Vieng. After an introduction to the basics of kayaking, the Nam Song offers various small but fun rapids on the way to the first stop at Tham Lom (Winding Cave) for swing jumping. We then continue to Tham None (Sleeping Cave) lying further downstream. It is one of the biggest caves in Vang Vieng, it served as a rescue shelter for the villagers during the Second Indochina War. Today it is home to a bat colony and 'The Magic Stone of Vang Vieng.
The final leg is a gentle paddle - before returning to Vang Vieng in time to catch the sunset from the terrace of the Ban Sabai Riverside Bungalow.
 
Day 5: Vangvieng – Vientiane (B, L)
After breakfast at hotel , drive to Vientiane. Located on the banks of the Mekong River. This capital conjures up exotic images, with a curious mix of Lao, Thai, Chinese, Vietnamese, French influences.  
Arrive in Vientiane at Lunch time, we start to visit city’s major historic sites including religious museums of Wat Sisaket, the oldest temple that survived from the Siamese war of 1828 with its cloister containing more than 8000 Buddha statues; Wat Ho Prakeo, the former home-temple of the Emerald Buddha statue or Pra Keo, but today it contains a collection of Buddha statues, antiques and all artifacts found in and around Vientiane; That Luang Stupa, the single most important monument in Laos, which was built to cover the original small stupa, containing a piece of the chest bone of Buddha; Patouxay (Lao Arc de Triomphe), built quite recently in commemoration of those who died during the wars in the past and it is today the landmark of Vientiane. Overnight in Vientiane
 
Day 6:  Vientiane – Departure (B)
After breakfast transfer to airport flight to next destination / End of service
