I am pleased to write this letter of reference for Thu Ha, who assisted me in planning my recent trip to Vietnam and Cambodia through Asia View Travel. With the assistance of Ms. Thu Ha, I was able to arrange a complete 22 day itinerary which particularly suited the needs of myself and my wife. The trip unfolded exactly as per our plan, with no hitches or unpleasant surprises.
 
My dealings with Ms. Thu Ha were entirely over the internet from my own office in Toronto. I advised her as to the duration of our stay and our interests, and she was able to plan for us a complete itinerary that met our needs. Once in Vietnam, Ms. Ha took the time to meet with us personally, and in fact followed up later on in our trip by telephone to ensure that everything was proceeding smoothly. With her assistance, our trip turned into a fascinating and hassle free experience.
 
Needless to say, I initially had some concerns about sending money to Vietnam to a person and company with whom I had never dealt with before. My concerns were all groundless. The advice and service which I received was beyond my expectations.
 
In short, I would not hesitate to recommend Ms. Thu Ha and Asia View Travel to anybody who is considering a trip to Vietnam and/or Cambodia

Laurie & I have arrived back in Australia, after the most wonderful three weeks. Everything went exactly as planned, and our four guides – Mr Son, Mr Phong, Mr Cuong and Mr Thy – all did a superb job in taking us to the various places listed in our itinerary, and explaining the history and significance of each site. Our accommodation was spotlessly clean and well-appointed, the food was delicious, the cars extremely comfortable and the drivers skilful and very friendly. We really couldn’t be happier with our holiday, and have already recommended you and you excellent company to our friends and family here in Australia.
 
I had an unfortunate accident on Tuesday 25th, while visiting Bayon Temple in Angkor Thom. I stepped on a loose stone in one of the little shrines, lost my balance and fell heavily, right in front of the statue of the Buddha. I tried to stop my fall with my left hand, and consequently fractured the three middle carpal bones. Mr Thy took me straight to a private medical clinic in Siem Reap, where Dr Khem Vann treated me.  She was very kind and thorough, and after the X-ray confirmed that the three bones had been broken, she called in a specialist, who set my left hand and lower arm in a cast. Dr Vann prescribed strong pain-relief medication and gave me anti-inflammatory drugs to relieve the swelling, which meant that we could resume our tour of Angkor Thom early Wednesday morning, and complete everything on our itinerary. I have lodged a claim with my insurance company here in Australia, and am pleased to say that I will be reimbursed for all medical expenses, apart from the $200.00 excess. The team at the Ly Srey Vyna II Clinic took excellent care of me, and I am very grateful to Mr Thy and our driver, Mr Leak, for acting so promptly and making sure that I received such high-standard care.
 
As soon as I have worked through all our photos, I’ll select some of the best and email them to you.  I will also write a review of our trip for Tripadvisor – I have emailed them, asking which section it will best fit in.
 
Thank you once again for arranging an outstanding holiday for us.  We have returned to Australia knowing so much more about your beautiful country, and have some wonderful memories to look back on.  I will tell everyone I speak to about your outstanding service – may you and your company prosper, as you most definitely deserve to.

We have now been home for 2 weeks and have just celebrated our sons wedding day. Our trip to Vietnam has been the very best holiday and overseas travel experience that we have ever had.  We cannot stop telling our friends and anyone who will listen just how wonderful it was. The itinerary that you presented for us was so diverse and so well organised we were continually surprised by everything your country had to offer.
 
We appreciated the punctuality of tour guides and drivers, the cleanliness of the vehicles and the broad knowledge of each guide for their particular region. We loved the food, had lots of fun at the cooking class in Hoi An, and loved the restaurants that were selected along the way.  We felt very special and thoroughly enjoyed these dining experiences.
 
The highlight of our trip was the Mai Chau trek with Mr Wah Hoa as our guide, and Tu who accompanied us and prepared meals along the way. We felt totally immersed in the culture of the H'mong and White Thai people, appreciating the natural landscape and farming areas that we passed through.  Not to mention the hospitality of the families that we visited.
 
We hope to visit again in the next couple of years, including Laos and other areas in North West Vietnam.  We thoroughly enjoyed Mr Wah Hoa's company and would join his treks or adventures at any time.  Could you please correct me if I have spelt his name wrong, as I would like to have the correct spelling for my photo album.
 
After hearing some horror stories from other travellers, travelling with other companies with regard to handwritten names at the airports, we noticed and appreciated the professionalism of your company  with our names clearly and consistently printed by computer printout at every pick up point.  (Not able to be copied by Taxi drivers).

I just wanted to say a huge thank you to you and the tour guides for making our trip in Vietnam most enjoyable. The 14 days in Vietnam went smoothly and we enjoyed every moment. The tour guide (Nguyen) in Hanoi was excellent - he was very experienced and provided little anecdotes whenever possible which made the trip very valuable. He spoke to my husband and I in English and translated everything in Vietnamese for my parents which I thought was very considerate. He did not leave anyone out in a conversation at all. He truly made the trip for my parents and I very memorable. To be honest all the tour guides were great! They definitely made our first trip to Vietnam memorable.
 
Thu ha you certainly did a fantastic job at preparing our customized itinerary - we are most happy with how you try and accommodate all our requests and also making sure our stay at every hotel was comfortable. My parents, my husband and I have been talking to our family and friends about how reliable and fantastic you and Asia View Travel are. You are very professional, patient and made us feel comfortable. Initially when we booked the tour with Asia View Travel we had various concerns as you were in Vietnam and we were in Australia, we had no way of knowing if you were a legitimate company. After numerous emails, your reassurance and your flexibility in letting us pay the rest of the funds when we saw you in Hanoi made us feel more comfortable and we definitely thank you for that.
 
The hotels, car, food, accommodation were all above expectations. We had a lot of family and friends who have been to Vietnam and they have had some bad experiences with hotels and food and I am sooo glad to say we did not have such problems and this is definitely thanks to you and the tour guides.

Thanks very much for the follow-up, very thoughtful of you. It really was a pleasure to experience life and culture in Vietnam and Cambodia, it was both an education and entertaining experience. The transportation, accommodation, and food were very nice. I would like to focus on the guides as in my opinion, they have the biggest impact on your trip.
 
Hanoi - Tui - Excellent, very knowledgeable, friendly and informative. I really enjoyed listening to him and he made every effort to accommodate the requests my mother made to see original art.
 
Hoian - Nga - Good. Nga performed at the expected level, and we did appreciate the effort she made to wear the Vietnamese traditional dress
Saigon - Tri - Good. Tri performed at the expected level
 
Siem Reap - Benk - Excellent. We enjoyed Benk the most as he had in depth personal knowledge about Siem Reap, adding personal anecdotes where ever possible, and demonstrating skill in both Sanskrit, and English. I can't say enough about his approach of telling the full stories of each of the major places of interest and artifacts within.
I do have a friend interested in a similar trip, and will pass your contact information along to her.

Thank you for organising such a delightful tour. My husband and daughter both exclaimed how much they enjoyed themselves. We especially appreciated the assistance of the guides, Phong and Minh and all our drivers. I will definitely refer other people to you and some of the businesses we dealt with on our trip.
 
We never got to fill in a feedback form for Minh. I odn’t know why. But to fill in the feedback loop we would like to say that we found Minh had a good grasp of English, listened to our questions and was intuitive enough to understand when we didn’t quite understand “why” something happened. He has a very good knowledge of history and the everyday aspects of contemporary Viet life that we wanted to know about and believe me we asked many questions. He was punctual and unfailingly polite making us feel as though we were the most important thing in his life while he was guiding us. I certainly appreciated a couple of cautions he gave us when shopping.

We enjoyed Sapa very much and the rain didn't worry us. Brian was a bit sick for a day or so but recovered quickly.

Our hotels were excellent, as were the restaurants we ate at, except for the one on Bamboo Island near Nha Trang. It wasn't of the same standard as the others. But we certainly had some delicious food during our holiday.
 
Our guides were top quality, with lots of interesting information on local and national history. They also made us feel safe and well looked after, particularly Con Minh Tri in Saigon. He was just the best!! And we had good drivers, something very important on the busy roads in Vietnam.

We have safely arrived to Ho Chi Minh City on the 21st.  Just want to let you know that everything went very smoothly, and we are very happy with the tour that you designed.  Despite having to pay more because of the Laos visa issue, we are still very pleased that we chose to go with such an honest and trustworthy tour agent, Mrs Thuha.  The guides in Laos were excellent; in Luang Prabang, my cold got worse and lost my voice, the guide (Keo) took me to the hospital for medications, he was very caring and nice.  I really appreciated that.  Mon, the guide in Vientiane was very knowledgeable and clear, we wanted to see the Buddha park and he brought us even though it was not on the itinerary.  The guide in Phnom Penh was knowledgeable as well but the tour was too short because we only finished lunch at 2:30pm, and the tour finished at 5:30pm.

Yes we are finally back home, we arrived back on the 15th September. We have been travelling to Asia for the past 20 years but this was the first time to Vietnam and we enjoyed the experience very much.

Firstly we thank you Tu Quyen, as our personal contact at  your company,  level of service was excellent. Your employers are fortunate to have staff like you. We are glad you liked the flowers, it was a just small token of our appreciation for the effort you put in to make our visit a memorable one. Missing Sapa was at first a disappointment, but Mai Chau more than made up for it, we loved it. All of your staff were very good, including the drivers, but a special mention for Mr. Hoa ..... he is a credit to your company, not only for his level of professionalism but also his happy and friendly nature made us feel very comfortable and welcome.
