Itinerary in Details
 
Day 1: Ho chi minh arrival
Arrival at Tan Son NhatAirport, you will be warmly welcomed and transfer ed to hotel by  Asia View Travel’s guides  with signboard, check in, relax. Overnight at hotel in Ho chi minh.
 
Day 2: Ho chi minh city tour ( B, L )
Pick up at  hotel, take city tour of dynamic Ho Chi Minh City, still called Saigon by many locals. We visit the Reunification Palace which was the former residence of the President of South Vietnam until end of April 1975, and some French colonial structures including the Notre Dame Cathedral, the Old Sai Gon Post Office before we shall see the exhibition on Vietnam War to the famous War Museum. Lunch at local restaurant. After lunch at local restaurant, we’ll head to Cholon or Chinatown to experience first-hand Chinese influence on Vietnamese society. Light some incense at the Thien Hau Pagoda, visit traditional Chinese herbalists and famous silk shops. We  visit the bustling Ben Thanh Market where anything and everything is for sale.

Day 3: Ho chi minh – Mekong Delta – My tho – Ben tre – Can Tho ( B,  L )
8:00 AM Pick up at hotel, transfer to My tho, the first bustling town of the Mekong Delta. This trip provides a look at a wide variety of the life and scenery on Vietnam River from the peaceful Delta. The huge ships, which come from many different countries moving slowly, quietly along the river is what you will see at the Saigon River. Do not miss this sight! On the way you will see daily activities of local people along the river sellers and buyers bargaining, exchanging fish, the products that they got from their working on the sea. From My Tho, you will ride on a local motor boat around Dragon Island, Unicorn Island, Phoenix Island, Turtle Island and stop at the famous Unicorn Island. While at the Unicorn Island, you will take a short trek and go for a rowing boat trip. You will also enjoy lunch, tropical fruit and free time  bike ride in the rural village. From there, you will continue your motor boat trip to Ben Tre province to visit a handmade coconut candy workshop. Then transfer to a small motor boat and travel along the lush, green canals that are so beautiful for photography. Continue to Can tho, check in, relax. Overnight at the hotel in Can Tho.
 
Day 4:  Can tho – Chau doc  ( B, L )
Rising early to the sounds of the Delta coming to life for another day, we breakfast and start our trip with a boat cruise on sparking streams along the endless waterway of Mighty Mekong River to Cairang  floating markets. There will be hundreds of boats loaded with fruits, vegetables and fish jostling for trade. Sellers advertisers their wares by crying out across the waters. We visit the lush orchards and are treated to a delicious tropical fruits. After lunch we travel by land to Chau Doc, on the way we will pass Thot Not to visit  Crocodile Farm. On arrival at Chau Doc, visit the Sam mountain to enjoy the a breath-taking view and enjoy the sunset on the top of SamMountain. Over night at hotel in Chau Doc.
 
 Day 5: Chau doc – Phnompenh by speed boat ( B, L )

This morning we will have a boat ride from Chau Doc to Phnom Penh departing around 7:30 AM. The boat takes us  along the Mekong River. It continues on to the Vietnamese (Vinh Xuong) - Cambodian (Kaom Samnar) border and then to Phnom Penh, capital of Cambodia. The journey takes approximately  5 hours. Arrive in Phnompenh pier around 12:30 PM. You will be picked up at Phnompenh pier, enjoy nice lunch at local restaurant.
We spend the rest of afternoon to discover Phnompenh city: Visit the Royal Palace, built by King Norodom in 1866 on the site of the old town, and the Silver Pagoda. Located within the Royal Palace, the Silver Pagoda is so named because of its floor, which is made up of 5000 silver tiles. The treasures found inside include a solid gold Buddha encrusted and weighing 90kilograms and a small 17th century emerald and baccarat crystal Buddha. End your afternoon with the visit of the Wat Phnom Temple, Phnom Penh's namesake, from where you can enjoy views over the tree-lined avenues of Phnom Penh during sunset.
 
Day 6: Phnompenh – Siemreap ( B, D )
Breakfast at the hotel. Then take a half-day city tour at the Killing Field and Toul Sleng Museum of the genocide Tuol Sleng Museum (Museum of Genocide): former Tuol Svay Prey High School, in 1975 it became the Khmer Rouge's main torture and interrogation center. It was known as Security Prison 21 - or just S-21.
Transfer to the airport for flight to Siemreap. The guide in Siemreap will pick you up, transfer to hotel in City center, check in, relax.. Dinner at local restaurant and  enjoy Apsara Dance showl.
 
Day 7 : Angkor Wat ( B,L )
In the morning, transfer to the archaeological site. Visit the ancient capital of Angkor Thom (12th century). See the South Gate with its huge statues depicting the churning of the ocean of milk, the Royal Enclosure, Phimeanakas, the Elephants Terrace, the Terrace of the Leper King and Bayon Temple (unique for its 54 towers decorated with over 200 smiling faces of Avolokitesvara).

Visit Preah Khan, built by the King Jayavarman VII and, like Ta Prohm, a place of towered enclosures and shoulder-hugging corridors. Unlike Ta Prohm, however, the temple of Preah Khan is in a reasonable state of preservation and ongoing restoration efforts should maintain and even improve this situation. Neak Pean, a fountain (built in the middle of a pool and representing the paradisiacal Himalayan mountain-lake), the temple of Ta Som, as well as the unique brick sculptures of Prasat Kravan. Day 8: Siem reap departure  ( B, L )
Breakfast at hotel.
In the morning, visit the most famous of all the temples on the plain of Angkor: Angkor Wat. The temple complex covers 81 hectares and is comparable in size to the Imperial Palace in Beijing. Its distinctive five towers are emblazoned on the Cambodian flag and the 12th century masterpiece is considered by art historians to be the prime example of classical Khmer art and architecture. Angkor Wat's five towers symbolize Meru's five peaks - the enclosed wall represents the mountains at the edge of the world and the surrounding moat, the ocean beyond.
Lunch at local restaurant.
Afternoon, visit Ta Prohm, one of the most beautiful temples in the area. Ta Prohm has been left relatively untouched since it was discovered and retains much of its mystery. Visit also Chau Say Tevoda and Thommanon. Transfer to Siem Reap International Airport for departure flight . End of tour.
