2/ Immunization
There is no compulsory vacination for Vietnam required before you visit. The malaria and  typhoid  and the allergic reactions rarely happened with our customers. However, we would highly recommend that all passengers bring along their own personal first aid kit. Below is a list of some recommended items:
Band Aids/ Bandages, Laxatives, Upset stomach remedy, Anti - diarrhoea remedy, Antiseptic cream/powder, Panadol/ Aspririn, Bug spray, Typhoid pills,
We also advise that you shouls be also up to date on your tetanus and hepatitis shot before you arrive

3/ Money
You should prepare some US dollars by cash to bring to Vietnam. Of course, you can use your credit card to withdraw money from ATM here. There are many ATM in the big cities like Hanoi, Ho chi minh, Hue, Hoian, Sapa. Visa card and Master card are accepted in almost hotels and shopping centers in the big cities. But cash is much prefer and more convernient for you to buy the small things like food, drink, souvenir. You can change from USD to Vietnam dong here. It is very easy, you can do it anywhere, at airport, hotel, money exchange counter on the street. The place to get the best exchange rate is at the exchange counter on the street. Now 1 USD is equivalent to 23.300 Vietnam dong ( updated in February 2020 ). It can be more or less somewhere else.

4/ Tips
Normally when you are on the tour, you are expected to tip for your tour guide and driver. You are flexible on Tips and gratuities. It totally depends on your satisfaction on the guide and driver’ s performance. However, if you need an advice, tips may range from US$ 5.00/guest/day for a guide and from US$ 3.00/guest/day for driver. For the bellboy at hotel, tips may be 1- 2 USD,  and around 2 – 5 USD for waiter at highen restaurant. For the basic restaurants or street food, no tips is required. When you do the cyclo tour, tips is also required, around 2 USD.

5/ / What power plugs are used in Vietnam?
Plugs type A (two flat vertical pins) and type C (two round pins) fit to most Vietnam electrical outlets. If your power plug has 3 pins,  you might need an adapter as most electrical outlets here do not include a grounding hole. See the pictures below.
